About the Upper Fells
Point Improvement Association
The Upper Fell’s Point
Improvement Association is an independent,
all-volunteer organization founded in 1985 to foster social ties, promote
civic participation, and advance physical improvements in the
neighborhood. We are bounded by Lombard Street to the north, Washington
Street to the east, Eastern Avenue to the South and Broadway to the west.
Membership is open to anyone who resides within the UFPIA’s boundaries,
and others are welcome to join as associates. Membership dues are $10 and
only $6 for senior citizens 60 yrs of age or older. We meet the 3rd
Tuesday of every month (except for December) at St. Patrick's School Hall
located at 1728 Bank Street. Members of our organization are active in
such areas as neighborhood beautification, crime prevention, education,
land use, and traffic. We regularly organize and participate in activities
such as neighborhood clean-ups, family educational and recreational
activities, festivities, community gardening, and events to benefit
General Wolfe Elementary School. We work closely with city officials and
residences to improve the quality of life in our area. [Join
