Sip & Plant Swap and Cycle Tour

  • 1827 East Pratt Street Baltimore, MD, 21231 United States (map)

Celebrate Earth Day and Spring at UFPIA’s Sip & Plant Swap and Cycle Tour on April 26th. The event will kickoff at Noon from the UFPIA Community garden (1827 E Pratt) with an optional family-friendly 8-mile bicycle ride to visit some of the green spaces and other gems in the area and will end at the UFPIA community garden. Made-to-order veggie spring rolls, snacks and beverages (by cash or Venmo donation) and plants will be available at the UFPIA garden from 2-4pm.

Bring a plant (indoor or outdoor) to exchange for something else to take home. Plants can be brought in any type of container (such as a cutting in a bottle or with roots in a box or bag, etc.) but be sure to note the name of the plant and what type of care is needed (shade or full sun, frequent watering, etc.).

If going on the bike tour, please confirm to Kurt, our bike leader, at kwschill@msn.com so we can get an accurate headcount. Also bike helmets are required.

This is a free event; donations are appreciated. Kids are welcome with an adult but no pets or smoking are allowed. For more information, contact Mallory at beautification@upperfellspoint.org or Jan at communitygarden@upperfellspoint.org. (Proceeds to the Beautification Committee for their greening efforts.)
