**Possible Votes: 1) Motion from the Land Use Committee: That the UFPIA send a letter of support to Edgemont Builders to procure historic renovation credits for their building at 200 S Broadway. (On July 6th Edgemont Builders presented to the Land-Use Committee a new plan for their building at 200 S Broadway. It is a historic church on the SW corner of E Pratt and S Broadway that was built in 1855 and is approximately 10,000 SF. The proposed project would include commercial space ideal for artistic, cultural, and/or educational endeavors. To make the project financially feasible, they are seeking State of MD Historic building credits and would like a letter of support from the UFPIA.)
2) Motion from the Land Use Committee: That the UFPIA provide $300 to $500 from the general fund to be used for legal costs by the Community Law Center to file paperwork to form a 501(3)(c) for ‘Broadway Partners’ (the UFPIA and Washington Hill Community Association) to improve the Broadway corridor from Eastern to E Baltimore with the goal of procuring grant money to fund a full time director. (Tim Durkin from the Washington Hill Community Association made a presentation at the July 6th Land-Use Committee meeting and stated that the Washington Hill Community Association will be donating a similar amount.)

(Dues are applied to the year they are collected and are considered paid at collection for the remainder of the year and through the regular Association meeting in January of the following year.) Members eligible to vote who are not present at a properly called Association meeting may vote if their absentee vote is received by an officer before the meeting, specifies the decision or election in writing, and is signed by the absent voter (email is fine).
