Guest Speakers
Jaz Erenberg, local artist, discussed the mural she will be painting on the 100 block of S Chapel. She received a grant from the MD Arts Council and will be gathering community input. She will be hosting a hands-on collage session at Meander Art Bar (1801 E Lombard) on May 17th from 12-3pm. The mural will be completed in 2026.

Motion: To elect Lynnie Moad to serve as Election Judge for our May officers’ election; motion passed.

President - Officer elections are coming up in May - everyone was encouraged to consider running even if the seat is contested. Contact Lynne at electionjudge@upperfellspoint.org.

The Plant Swap and Cycle Tour is on April 27th at the community garden - bring a plant, take one home. Beverages/snacks by donation.
Residents filled the dumpster at Dumpster Day on April 5th. Metals were recycled
First evening cleanup of the year was on April 15th. Nancy will be leading these going forward.
There will be a cleanup on May 10th.

Committee meeting held on April 7th and next one on May 5th at 7pm.
209 S Chapel - A court hearing regarding violations is to be held on April 16th.
1826 Bank and 205 S Chapel - Owner was fined for violations.
1917 Bank - Tax sale hearing is upcoming.
Working with Councilman Glover’s office to remove dangling cable wires on S Regester, S Durham and S Chapel. If you notice any others, contact Mark. Phase II of this project will address unused wires in rear properties.
List of tree stumps to be removed was given to the forestry dept. 5) Sweet Carolina Liquor challenged the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that they signed with the UFPIA but the Baltimore Liquor Board denied it and they were fined.

NEW BUSINESS
We have a new neighborhood business called Sweet Decisions (formerly Where I Met Your Mother-1901 Gough). They plan to open in mid-April offering desserts and beverages.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
To vote on issues at a meeting, you must have paid your current dues (based on calendar year beginning in January), attended 2 of the preceding 11 meetings, live in our boundaries and be age 18 and/or attended UFPIA sponsored events/activities per our Meeting & Voting Regulations.
